Pricing FAQ

How does pricing work?

You pay a small monthly fee for each DID (phone number) and a per-minute rate for calls. There are no channel fees or hidden charges.

Are there setup fees or contracts?

There is a one-time $1.00 setup fee per DID. No long-term contracts - you can cancel anytime. We believe in earning your business every month.

How does billing work?

Monthly charges (DIDs) are billed at the start of each billing cycle. Usage charges (per-minute) are billed in arrears based on actual usage. All billing is done through your customer portal with detailed invoices.

Can I port my existing numbers?

Yes! Number porting is $5.00 per number. We handle the entire process and keep you updated throughout. Most ports complete within 7-10 business days.

What codecs do you support?

We support G.711 (ulaw/alaw), G.729, and Opus codecs. Our network is optimized for the highest voice quality possible.

SIP Trunking Pricing FAQ

How much does SIP trunking cost per month?

With IPComms, there is no monthly trunk fee. You pay per minute of usage (outbound from $0.0098/min, inbound from $0.0049/min) plus $1.50/month per local DID. There are no per-channel fees, no setup fees, and no contracts. A typical small business with 5,000 minutes/month pays $50-100 total.

Is SIP trunking cheaper than PRI?

Yes. Most businesses save 50-80% by switching from PRI to SIP trunking. PRI circuits cost $300-800/month for 23 channels, while SIP trunking with IPComms has no per-channel fees. You also eliminate T1 hardware costs and long-term contracts.

Are there hidden fees with SIP trunking?

IPComms has transparent pricing with no hidden fees. Some providers charge extra for E911, CNAM caller ID, number porting, or technical support. IPComms includes E911 ($1.50/DID/mo), free number porting, and 24/7 support at no extra cost.

Do I need to pay for concurrent call channels?

Not with IPComms. Many SIP providers charge $15-25 per concurrent channel, but IPComms offers unlimited concurrent calls at no additional cost. You only pay for actual minutes used, making it ideal for call centers and businesses with variable call volumes.
