3CX Setup Guide

Add IPComms as a SIP trunk in your 3CX Management Console

Add a New SIP Trunk

In 3CX Management Console, go to SIP Trunks and click Add SIP Trunk.

Select Generic SIP Trunk from the country list.

Enter Trunk Details

Configure the trunk with your IPComms credentials:

Trunk Name: IPComms

Registrar/Server: yourdomain.s1.ipcomms.net

Outbound Proxy: yourdomain.s1.ipcomms.net

Number of SIM Calls: [Your channel count]

Type of Authentication: Register/Account based

Authentication ID: [Your IPComms Username]

Authentication Password: [Your IPComms Password]

Configure DIDs

Add your DIDs in the trunk configuration:

Main Trunk No: [Your main DID]

DID Format: E.164 (e.g., +15551234567)

Set Outbound Rules

Go to Outbound Rules and create rules for:

Local Calls: Calls to NXXNXXXXXX route via IPComms

Long Distance: Calls to 1NXXNXXXXXX route via IPComms

Caller ID: Use your IPComms DID

Test Your Trunk

The trunk should show as "Registered" in green. Make a test call to verify inbound and outbound work correctly.
