Follow these simple steps to add your IPComms SIP trunk
Create a PJSIP Trunk
Go to Connectivity → Trunks, click Add Trunk, and select Add SIP (chan_pjsip) Trunk.
Trunk Name: IPComms
Configure Outbound Settings
On the pjsip Settings tab, enter:
Username: [Your IPComms Username]
Secret: [Your IPComms Password]
Authentication: Outbound
Registration: Send
SIP Server: sip.ipcomms.net
SIP Server Port: 5060
Set Up Outbound Route
Go to Connectivity → Outbound Routes, create a route:
Route Name: IPComms-Out
Dial Pattern: NXXNXXXXXX (10-digit) or 1NXXNXXXXXX (11-digit)
Trunk Sequence: IPComms
Configure Inbound Route
Go to Connectivity → Inbound Routes, create a route for your DID:
DID Number: [Your IPComms DID]
Set Destination: Extension, Ring Group, IVR, etc.
Apply Config & Test
Click Apply Config in FreePBX. Your trunk should register. Make a test call to verify!

Which FreePBX version do you support?
We support FreePBX 13, 14, 15, and 16. PJSIP is recommended for all versions.
Do you support chan_sip?
Yes, but we recommend PJSIP for better performance and features. chan_sip works fine if needed.
Can I use the FreePBX Firewall module?
Absolutely! Whitelist our IP ranges or use registration mode for dynamic IPs.
Do you support fax?
Yes! T.38 fax is supported. Works great with the FreePBX Fax module.
