Create BYOC Trunk in Genesys Cloud

Navigate to Admin → Telephony → Trunks and create a new trunk:

Trunk Name: IPComms-BYOC

Trunk Type: BYOC Premises (or BYOC Cloud)

Protocol: SIP

Configure SIP Settings

Set the trunk connection details:

SIP Server: sip.ipcomms.net
Port: 5060 (or 5061 for TLS)
Transport: UDP / TLS
Registration: Enabled
Username: YOUR_USERNAME
Password: YOUR_PASSWORD

Configure Edge Device

For BYOC Premises, configure your Edge device:

Edge Group: Your-Edge-Group

Trunk Base: IPComms-BYOC

Outbound Route: Default or custom pattern

Set Up Number Plans

Configure DID routing in Genesys Cloud:

Number Plan: E.164

DID Range: Your IPComms DIDs

Route to: Your queues or IVR

Place test calls and verify connectivity:

Check: Trunk Status in Telephony dashboard

Test: Outbound + Inbound calls

Verify: Audio quality and caller ID
